Tor Pedersen – Broomore Farm, Waikato Regional Supreme Winner Open Day
Come along and learn more about this award-winning Raglan dairy farm. Gain an insight into the initiatives that have enhanced the property’s water quality and biodiversity while balancing profitability, environmental stewardship and farm efficiency.
The open day will include an overview from Tor and his parents, Tony and Shona Petersen, as well as a farm tour.
Guest speakers include:
• Craig Depree, Principal Scientist at DairyNZ – Freshwater
• Dr Michael Townsend, Waikato Regional Council – Coastal and marine science
Topics will also include the Massey University freshwater mussel project and hill country planting.
The event also offers the opportunity to engage with industry representatives and the wider farming community, all while celebrating the achievements of Tor Pedersen and his family.
