Come and view for yourself the impressive farming operation of Stuart Neill’s Pukatea Dairy Farms. The farm tour will give an insight into some of the on-farm practices that show Stuart’s passion for working with and for the land, people and the community.

BIOSECURITY
The farm tour will be in 4WD vehicles. Please fill a vehicle with as many people as you can to reduce the number of vehicles travelling over the property. Also please ensure all vehicles and footwear are clean.
The open day will cover:
• Use of on-farm data and technology to reduce environmental impacts and on-farm emissions and improve animal welfare
• Long-term benefits of planting waterways, wetlands and nonproductive land
• Water testing of on-farm ecosystems, showcasing the impressive monitoring and mitigation strategies in place
• Business overview with a focus on people, and 10 in 7 milking
• Drone spray demonstration (weather permitting)
Guest speakers include Mike Hennessy from Amuri Irrigation Company, Jamie McFadden from Hurunui Natives, Noelle Fox – Farm Adviser, and Andrew Neill from On Farm Data.
The event offers the opportunity to engage with industry representatives and the farming community, all while celebrating the achievements of Stuart Neill and his team.
