Come along and view for yourself the impressive farming operation of Stewart Dairylands. On the farm tour, the team from Stewart Dairylands will show us how they have achieved success on their Hiwinui dairy farm.
The event will cover four key areas:
• The rich farm history, a focus on people,
and the role for agri-tourism
• Farm technology to reduce environmental impacts, improve cow welfare and reduce on-farm emissions.
• Planting of waterways, featuring the impressive Stoney Creek project, and the involvement of Stewart Dairylands in catchment groups
• Future thinking, highlighting succession for generations to come The day will also feature guest speakers from Horizons Regional Council and MPI.
The event offers the opportunity to engage with industry representatives and the farming community, all while celebrating the achievements of Stewart Dairylands.

1.30pm BBQ lunch Water will be available, please BYO water bottles Morning tea will be provided by Hiwinui School. A donation box will be available with all proceeds going to Hiwinui School.

BIOSECURITY
The farm tour will be in 4WD vehicles. Please fill a vehicle with as many people as you can to reduce the number of vehicles travelling over the property. Also please ensure all vehicles and footwear are clean.
