Bringing together a diverse group of voices, this session explores how productive land use can go hand-in-hand with environmental stewardship and community wellbeing.
With a focus on Manaaki Whenua Kaitiakitanga (Biodiversity), Tiaki Whenua (On Orchard) and Ora Tangata (Social & Community), speakers including Tim Woodward, Les Anstiss, Tom Heeney, Alex Shortcliffe and Charles Russell will share practical insights into enhancing biodiversity on orchards while supporting strong, connected rural communities.
This open day will highlight real-world approaches to caring for the land and the people who depend on it.
